Gervaise, Mary: Lucy in Luck.

Gervaise, Mary - Lucy in Luck. Nelson, copyright 1963. It didn't seem to Lucy that much luck was coming her way: her absentmindedness landed her in trouble not only in class but on the games field as well; and it led to her being deprived of the longed-for visit to Drum Castle. Instead she was to join a geolocigal expedition to some local caves. It sounded dreary; but of course she did not know beforehand what strange events awaited her and her friends there. (flap) 7½" x 4¾", 86pp, light-green cloth, hardback. Illustrated with 3 full-page, inc. frontispiece, monochrome drawings within the text by G. R. Day. Does not have a front-free endpaper but does have 2 back-free endpapers so may be misbind? or by design; half-title printed on verso of frontispiece. Spine sunned; page-edge browning; pages toned; good, sound copy complete with very good minus (slightly sunned spine; slight edge-wear; slightly 'dusty'/spotting) wrapper; not price-cut.
