Illustrated with 4 colour and 16 monochrome plates (all present) by Alice B. Woodward.
Looks to be ex-library (remnants of number-sticker at foot of spine, rubber-stamp in top-front corner of front paste-down, various library-looking references on front endpapers; but that's it, no other library marks or damage from removed lending-lists etc); spine dulled/'dusty'; boards sunned round all edges; slight page edge browning to text pages; pages 7-10 loose as 1 piece (not wragged at all); plate facing page 22 loose (not wragged); plate facing page 30 loose with ½" margin-tear to front-edge and very slightly wragged; plate facing page 44 loose and a little wragged round edges; the odd internal fox-spot or mark; good only; NO wrapper.
